"Winter Persimmons"
3" by 4"
Oil on Masonite
My neighbor has this amazing tree full of persimmons.
When my husband and I first saw it last week we thought it was some sort of bizarre Christmas decoration.
The persimmons are so amazingly orange and so prolific and so, so, so *perfect* we just couldn't believe they were real.
And against a clear blue sky, they're just like tiny Chinese lanterns, lit from within.

This is nice, I like the colors, and especially like the background.
